Launch token

Launching and trading.

Launching

Create takes a name, ticker, description, image and links, an optional first buy, and the deployer's choice for the 0.80%. The launch fee (read from the contract, 0.005 BNB by default) goes to the treasury. The coin mints 1,000,000,000 tokens to the Launchpad. There is no team allocation and no mint function.

  • Images uploaded in the browser are re-encoded through a canvas, which strips EXIF metadata, then stored on-chain as a data URL (at most 4 MB). On-chain bytes cost gas, so an https URL is much cheaper and is accepted as-is.
  • An optional first buy runs in the same transaction as buy #1. It is public, like every curve trade, and pays the same 2.00% fee.
  • The 0.80% choice: Me (paid to the creator; can be handed over later, once), Another wallet, Holders, or Donate to a ring. Everything except Me is handed over at launch and is irrevocable. Nobody, including the zkBNB admin, can change a payee after handover.

Trading

Coins trade on a constant-product curve with virtual reserves. The numbers, the price at each stage and what happens at graduation are on Tokenomics.

Buys pay 2.00% of the BNB sent as the creator fee, and the rest moves along the curve. Sells return tokens to the curve: 2.00% of the gross BNB is the fee and the seller gets the rest. Quotes come from quoteBuy and quoteSell, and the app applies your slippage setting to the minimum you accept.

Stages

  • Seed: fewer than 10 buys.
  • Sprout: on the curve, 10 or more buys.
  • Orchard: graduated. When the curve sells out (about 11.33 BNB raised), the Launchpad creates the PancakeSwap pair, adds the remaining tokens with all raised BNB and sends the LP tokens to the dead address. From then on, trades go through PancakeSwap and pay the fee through the pair-tax.
